Meet the team
The 56Paris Real Estate team draws on a wealth of experience in the property and business sectors.
In 2021 our team expanded, with four new members joining at the start of la rentrée – the beginning of the fall real estate season. Zarina, Ana Maria, Karina, and Marie have just been joined by a returning team member, Faustine, at this year’s rentrée.

Kerstin Bachmann, Managing Director
Founder and managing director, Kerstin Bachmann, has been a duly licensed Parisian realtor since 2009. After obtaining a master’s degree in marketing and business from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris, Kerstin worked for over a decade in international finance before discovering her passion for real estate. A German expat, Kerstin has lived in Paris for over 20 years.
Anne Pontabry, Marketing Director
Anne looks after Corporate Development and Marketing. A graduate of UC Berkeley, Anne’s career in international luxury goods initially brought her to Paris. She moved into real estate with a prominent local agency before joining Kerstin’s team in 2011. Originally from the US, Anne speaks English, Italian, French, and German. Ask Anne if you want to know where to shop in Paris, or to find the best pastry.
Faustine, Agent
Faustine started as a 56Paris team member in 2013, choosing real estate immediately after completing her studies. After a management stint in the wellness industry, she returned to the team to assist clients in buying and selling properties. Originally from eastern France, Faustine is a longtime Paris resident who speaks French and English. In her off hours, she sings in Parisian jazz clubs, and pursues her passion for yoga.
Zarina, Agent
Zarina began helping 56Paris clients buy and sell properties in 2021. Originally from Russia, she received her master’s degree in management from the Faculty of Tourism and Culture in Angers, France. She gained experience in client service in the international luxury market as the Sales Director of a boutique hotel in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris. Zarina speaks Russian, French, and English. A longtime Francophile, her passion for the French lifestyle and decorative arts led her to create the ‘France By Lilly’ brand.
Ana Maria, Agent
Ana Maria joined 56Paris in 2021, assisting clients with buying and selling properties, after several years of working in Paris real estate. Originally from Venezuela, she lived in the US before moving to Paris. Following a career in the medical field, Ana Maria found her true passion in real estate in the US, honing her skills in marketing strategy, sales and customer service. She speaks Spanish, French, and English. An art aficionado, you can find Ana Maria at museum exhibits and discovering small galleries, or exploring the city’s many different neighborhoods.
Karina, Agent
Karina is a search and sales agent who has been working with 56Paris to find our clients the perfect Paris apartment since 2021. She came to Paris after having lived in both the UK and New Zealand. Karina also runs her own travel consultancy business, Travel Light Paris. She speaks English and French. Passionate about the city's architecture and its unique lifestyle, Karina loves to share her enthusiasm for it and enjoys building lasting relations with her clients. You can find her enjoying Parisian terraces, exhibitions and concerts or pursuing her other passion, horse riding.
Marie, Property Management and Rental
Marie began overseeing property management and rentals for 56Paris clients in 2021. A native Parisian, she knows the city inside out, and she began her career in the luxury sector here in the executive offices of LVMH. Marie honed her client service skills while working in several luxury hotels in Paris prior to creating her own personalized concierge service. She speaks French and English. Passionate about customer service, confidence is her watchword and her motto is “nothing is impossible.”
Léa, Office Manager
Léa joined 56Paris as Office Manager in 2020 while earning her master's degree in urban planning, after a bachelor’s degree in international trade and marketing at the Sorbonne. A Paris area native, her passion for travel has taken her everywhere from Hawaii to Amsterdam. Léa speaks French, English, and Spanish. She enjoys discovering new brunch spots in Paris, fashion, and design.
